It all started when I was nine years old, in fourth grade. It was the book fair. It came once a year. This year I had some money. I remember looking over the Amelia Bedelia books and those glossy-covered books about kittens and puppies. None of that really interested me at all and then there was a book that had white lettering on a blue cover. The subtext had to do with families that were affected by alcoholism.

It was the era of Nancy Reagan and her, "Say No To Drugs," campaign. I had been learning what alcohol and drugs were and I was so drawn to this book. That was the book that I wanted to read. That's when it all started. I was captivated by understanding people, their thoughts and emotions, their coping, and their pain. I wondered, "When? Where? How do we get stuck in this shame cycle? How do we get out?"

That's when God began preparing my way. I was seriously nine years old and wearing the same purple, fuzzy, knockoff velvet pants once a week that my mom had sown that I absolutely loved. I was still playing with Barbies, playing house, and running around with our dogs. That's when God started preparing me for this life's work of entering into the emotional process with my clients. I'm so privileged to be present with others in their pain and in their joy as well.

Almost five years ago, I embarked on the journey of expanding from being an independent mental health practitioner to building a professional team of well-trained and supervised, clinically astute therapists and followers of Christ. Today, I am humbled and honored to be the owner of Boundless Hope Christian Clinical Counseling. My colleagues and I provide evidence-based therapeutic intervention for kids, teens, adults, couples & families in alignment with the truth of God's Word.

In 2023, I founded One Another with the vision that all people will have access to affordable mental health support, offered by well-trained and justly compensated professionals. I want everyone to experience the life-changing impact of therapeutic relationships with therapists that see the image of God in their clients and seek to reflect His love. One Another relies on the generosity of donors like you to fund our scholarships and provide mental health support to those in need. Here are some ways you can help:

Thank you for taking the time to read about my journey.  Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
